So you don't need to struggle through difficult times feeling alone, believing you have to cope and manage without support.
You may feel that although friends or family are there for you, there are times when - in spite of their best intentions - they are unable to understand fully or to help you to find a way through. If this is the case for you, then you may find counselling helpful.
