My interest in psychotherapy began in 1992 during a year long trip to India. Whilst there, I became intrigued by the connections between western philosophy/ spirituality and eastern mysticism and thewisdom they offered. On my return from India, I trained as a social worker and worked as a children and family's social worker for four years. I moved from there to work as a psychotherapist in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team, again for four years.
