I offer face to face and online video counselling to adult individuals who are suffering from self-esteem and anxiety issues, to help them make positive changes to their life and to feel better aboutthemselves. Sometimes, it can seem that the easiest thing to do is bury our emotions and hope our difficulties just go away, but this rarely works and can make matters worse for you. If you want to break the cycle and change your situation, but don’t know how try talking to me.

In order to become a Psychotherapeutic and Counselling Psychologist, I studied initially for three years at undergraduate level in Psychology and then completed a four year doctoral training course atthe University of Surrey. I work in a way that combines three different therapeutic approaches - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Humanistic/Person-Centred Therapy. Please see the About My Service page for an explanation of these terms.

When the mind suffers, the body cries out. It is our unresolved emotional issues, fears and difficulties of life which are the ones that lead eventually to the medical problems. I am trained inCognitive-Behavioural Therapy. I also use a variety of methods including Solution Focused and Gestalt techniques, Person-centred therapy and Psychodynamic approach. Because each client is unique, my approach is tailored to fit each person's individual needs. In 2004 I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Psychology.

Most of us experience depression, anxiety or stress at some stage of our lives, sometimes as a result of things that have happened, or in a general way that can't clearly be understood. In bothinstances, we need to take note of what we are experiencing and come to terms with the resulting pain, disappointment and confusion that can often arise.
