About the Business

I'm a Registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor and for the past 30 years have been working with adults and couples of all ages who feel the need to address the emotional and psychological issues that are troubling them. For many of us there are times in our lives when we find that we are have difficulties with emotions and feelings that we cannot always explain or understand. Not only may these affect how we feel about ourselves but may also affect our relationships, whether this is with our partners, families or children. Sometimes these issues may also intrude in our work life. My approach is to offer a professionally supportive, reflective and gentle space in which clients may explore the issues that are troubling them. I have a particular interest in the possible links between physical symptoms and emotional distress. On this site I describe in more detail my approach to psychotherapy and counselling and offer some details of my experience, professional background and qualifications.
