About the Business

It is recognised that one in four people will experience a mental health difficulty at some point in their life. Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) was introduced as a way in which people could access talking therapies as close to their home or place of work as possible.

Warrington Primary Care Psychological Service offer talking therapy for Depression and Anxiety. We are a free service to help anyone who is aged 16 years and over and is registered with a GP surgery in Warrington.

The service is part of Mental Health Matters, one of the largest voluntary organisations in the UK providing Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT). In Warrington, we work in partnership with CWP NHS Trust.
