About the Business
The Canterbury Psychological Clinic is located in well-equipped consulting rooms in the City of Canterbury. It was founded in 2002 by Dr Celest van Rooyen, Chartered Clinical Psychologist, in response to local demand for expert Psychological and Psychiatric services. Since its inception the Clinic has expanded and now Dr van Rooyen has a team of clinical experts who with her are able to provide a full range of mental health care for children and adults. This includes psychological assessment and treatment for a wide range of mental health issues. The clinic operates an open referral system and welcomes direct approaches from patients and clients. Patients and clients are also routinely referred by general practitioners, solicitors and insurers. Appointments are offered within one to two weeks and more urgent cases can be seen earlier if required.
