Counselling provides an opportunity to talk in complete confidence to a qualified professional who knows how to listen and is not involved in your outside life. A trusting and robust relationshipbetween you and your counsellor allows you to say whatever is on your mind and in this way an understanding can emerge of the feelings and patterns of behaviour which may be troubling you.
