There are times in all our lives when we need someone to talk through our problems with. Counselling can provide a safe environment in which you can explore troubling situations, thoughts andfeelings, including those that were once deemed too traumatic to deal with. The therapeutic relationship can be very powerful when resolving difficult emotional situations, and as a result present day challenges can be more clearly understood.

Person Centred Counselling views the client as having the ability to overcome their own problems and difficulties if given the right conditions. The success of this approach has been so strong thattoday, 50 years on from when it was first developed, it is still by far the most popular form of counselling.

Nail biting is a surprisingly common habit. Almost without exception, nail-biting is an unconscious habit. The good news is that it is unconscious actions and beliefs that hypnosis is particularlyuseful at addressing. Hypnotherapy can help you to form positive new alternatives to nail biting, as well as helping you cope with anxious situations and stress triggers in a constructive way.
